The quote widget for auto glass websites
Your website prices the job before you pick up the phone.
The estimator on this page installs on your website with one line of code, priced from your own rate book. Every visitor who prices a job lands in your lead inbox.

The visitor who never called
Your website asks them to call, so most of them do not
Someone cracks a windshield at 4:40 and searches for a shop. They land on your site, find a phone number and a contact form, and want one thing you are not showing them: what this costs. So they go back to the results page and open the next shop, and you never knew they were there.
A contact form is not an answer
The one thing every visitor wants is a number. A form that promises a callback asks them to wait, and the shop that answers first usually gets the job.
Calibration remembered after the yes
You price the glass, win the job, then find the camera behind the mirror has to be recalibrated. That is $200.00 off a job you already quoted.
Two prices for the same job
Quote from memory on Tuesday and from a different mood on Friday. The same F-150 windshield goes out at two numbers, and the cheaper one sets the expectation.
What it costs you
3 quotes a week at 45 minutes on hold is 2+ hours of unpaid office work, every week.
One F-150 windshield lost to a faster shop each month is $879.10 x 12 = $10,549 a year, using the starting prices in the demo below.
How it works
Set your prices once, then let your website do the quoting
Set your numbers once. After that your website quotes for you around the clock, and the jobs it captures are waiting in your inbox with the price the customer already saw.
- 1
Build your price book once
Set your class bases, grade multipliers, feature adders, and calibration prices. About thirty rows, one evening at the kitchen table.
- 2
Paste one line on your website
The estimator goes live on your own site. Visitors price their own job from your rate book and leave their number, and the lead is in your inbox with the breakdown they saw.
- 3
Work the job and get it signed
Turn a lead into a quote, or build one at the car on your phone. The customer signs on their own screen, and one click afterwards asks them for a review.

Price a real job right here
This is the pricing engine from the product, running in your browser. Tap a service, add the features you can see on the glass, pick a calibration. Nothing is submitted and nothing is faked: the same code prices your real quotes.

It prices from your rate book, not this demo one, and files every enquiry as a lead.
What it does
Five things, done properly
Website widget
The estimator goes on your own website and turns visitors into priced leads.
One script tag, locked to the domains you list. A visitor prices their own job, leaves their number, and lands in your inbox with the full breakdown. Win the job and one click asks them for a review, which you can feature back inside the widget.

What customers say
“Quoted me in the driveway and had it in the next morning.”

Price book
Your prices live in a book you control, not in a licensed catalog.
Three vehicle classes, three grades, five feature adders, three calibration types, four add-ons. No parts API, so no per-lookup fee ever lands on your statement.
Price book row
Quote builder
Tap the broken pane on a top-down car instead of typing part descriptions.
Every option is a chip you can hit with a thumb, and the running total repriced on each tap. Nothing is saved for later, because everything saves as you go.
On the quote
Customer approval
The customer signs the quote on their own phone, with no account to create.
They open a link, read the same itemised lines you sent, type their name, and accept. The record keeps their name, the timestamp, and a hashed IP.
Acceptance record
ACCEPTED

Branded PDF
Every quote renders to a PDF with your shop name, licence number, and terms.
It attaches to the email you send and stays downloadable from the quote link, so the customer has something to show their insurer.
Quote PDF
Safe drive-away time: 60 minutes minimum after install.
Also in the box
Show the out-of-pocket
Enter the insurer, claim number, and deductible, and the customer sees what they actually owe at service.
Reprice a draft instantly
Change the grade or the class and every line recalculates before you look up.
Send from the quote page
Email the quote and the PDF, then get told the moment the customer opens it.
See the pipeline
Check what is sent, viewed, accepted this month, and your win rate over ninety days.
Book the job on a calendar
Schedule a lead, assign the tech doing it, and subscribe the crew's phones to the read-only feed so it shows up in Google or Apple Calendar.
Add your techs with the right access
Invite up to five installers on Crew. Owners and admins handle billing and settings; members quote and work jobs without seeing either.
Ask for the review after the win
One click sends a single-use link. They rate you, then get your public profile link, whatever they scored you.
Push leads anywhere
Signed webhooks fire on new leads, status changes, accepted quotes, and new reviews. Point them at Zapier or Make and connect whatever you already use.
Take your data out
Export leads and quotes to CSV, or every record to JSON, whenever you want.
The decision
What you are really choosing between
Most shops are not switching from another glass quoting tool. They are switching from a pad, a phone ballpark, and a spreadsheet, or from an invoicing app that was never built for glass.
| Criterion | Pen, paper, spreadsheet | Generic invoicing app | ShatterQuote |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to send a real quote | 30 to 45 minutes | 15 minutes of typing | Minutes, at the car |
| Priced by glass type, class, and grade | From memory | You type every line | Built into the price book |
| ADAS calibration as its own line | Usually forgotten | Only if you remember | Dynamic, static, or dual |
| Same price for the same job | Depends on the day | Depends who typed it | One book, one answer |
| Looks right on the customer phone | A photo of paper | An invoice, not a quote | Branded quote page |
| Customer can approve online | Call them back | Pay button, not a signature | Types their name and signs |
| Your website turns visitors into priced leads | A phone number | A contact form at best | Widget prices and captures |
Priced by grade, not guesswork
Aftermarket, OEE, and OEM are multipliers on your base, so all three numbers are ready when the customer asks.
Calibration is a line, not a surprise
Dynamic, static, and dual each carry their own price and print separately on the quote.
Mobile work is in the number
The trip charge and the molding kit are add-ons on the quote, not something you absorb.
Running a fifty-crew operation that needs full job costing, inventory, and payroll? You have outgrown this. ShatterQuote is for the shop where the person quoting is also the person cutting the urethane.

Questions
What shops ask before signing up
You do. Every customer, quote, and price book row exports to a single JSON file from Settings, and deleting your company removes the records and the uploaded files for good.
Yes. The quote builder, the glass map, and the customer quote page are all built for a phone screen first, because most of these quotes get built standing next to the car.
A card is required to start the trial, and the plan you picked begins billing when the 14 days are up. Cancel before then and you are not charged at all.
Not as a file upload yet. Your account starts with a full default price book, and you edit the rows that differ from your pricing, which is around thirty numbers and takes one sitting.
No. They open the link you send, read the itemised quote, download the PDF, and type their name to accept. Nothing to sign up for.
Yes, from your billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
If you can paste one line of HTML, yes. It is a single script tag, so it works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, and hand-written HTML alike. There is no plugin to install and nothing to keep updated.
That is your call, per widget. Exact shows the number you would quote. Range shows a spread around it, so visitors get a useful figure without your exact pricing being public. Hidden collects the job details and shows no price at all.
Yes. Switch it off in settings and it stops loading on your site immediately, without touching the code you pasted. You also list which domains may embed it, so nobody else can put your pricing on their page.
Yes. Export leads and quotes to CSV whenever you want, filtered the same way as the list you are looking at. There are also signed webhooks for new leads, status changes, accepted quotes, and new reviews, which connect to Zapier or Make.
Solo is one seat. Crew is five, with roles: owners and admins handle billing, settings, and integrations, while members quote and work jobs without access to either.
You collect the feedback, then the customer is shown your public review link and can post it themselves. That link appears for everyone who leaves feedback, whatever they rated you. Sending only happy customers to your public profile is against Google's policies, so this product does not do it.
