Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ShatterQuote (the "service"), operated by ShatterQuote Software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

The service

ShatterQuote is a tool for auto glass shops to build, send, and manage quotes. The pricing produced by the service is generated from the price book and inputs you control. You are responsible for the accuracy of your prices, the quotes you send, and the work you perform. The service is a quoting tool, not a party to the agreement between your shop and your customer.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access data that is not yours, no reverse engineering, no using the service to send unlawful or fraudulent quotes, and no activity that disrupts the service for others. We enforce rate limits and other protections and may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Plans, billing, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the plan you select until you cancel. Prices may change with notice, and changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and your access continues to the end of the current paid period. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

Your data

You retain ownership of the quote and customer data you enter. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data and delete your company and its data at any time from the settings area.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation. We may update, improve, or change features over time, and we may perform maintenance that briefly interrupts access.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShatterQuote Software is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or for conduct that harms the service or other users. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive, such as limitation of liability, will survive.
